Closure order granted for Drovers Pace property |
||
|
Dear Resident, I wanted to update you on action taken by the Huntingdon Neighbourhood Team following ongoing concerns about anti-social behaviour and drug-related activity at a property in Drovers Pace. On 11 September, Cambridge Magistrates' Court granted a three-month closure order for 33 Drovers Place, Huntingdon, following an application by Cambridgeshire Constabulary. This action was taken in response to repeated reports of drug use and anti-social behaviour linked to the address, which has had a significant impact on residents living nearby. The order allows the tenant to remain at the property but restricts access to others. Until 11 December, no one is permitted to enter the address apart from the tenant, representatives from Places for People and the emergency services. We understand the frustration and disruption this behaviour has caused to those living in the area. This closure order is an important step in addressing the issues reported to us and preventing further anti-social behaviour and criminal activity associated with the property. Thank you to everyone who has reported concerns and provided information to support our work. We will continue to monitor the situation and take action where necessary to keep our communities safe. Kind regards, PC James Ferries | ||
